As a remote worker, I craved both productivity and peace—Nguyen Shack delivered halfway. The serene environment and daily yoga were balm for my burnout, and the riverside hammocks became my office. However, the Wi-Fi was unreliable beyond the common area, making video calls stressful. The vegetarian meals were delicious, and the staff’s homemade ginger tea was a thoughtful touch. Rooms are basic (no AC), but the fan sufficed. Ideal for those unplugging, but tech-dependent travelers might struggle. Still, I left feeling refreshed, if slightly behind on emails!

This was a wonderful place to stay in Phong Nha! The cabin was lovely with fantastic views and very comfortable whilst still feeling very rural. The staff were absolutely wonderful, incredibly helpful and friendly.

We loved our stay at Tutu’s! Tutu and her husband are wonderful and helped us with everything from booking trips to renting a scooter (highly recommend this for getting around effortlessly!). They also let us store our luggage and shower after check-out. In addition, Tutu is a great cook, so we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner here every day of our stay. Finally, I want to highlight the location and amazing view from the rooftop terrace. Perfect for watching the sunset with a cold beer in hand. 10/10 recommend!

The property was great, and the hosts were even better. Everyone was extremely helpful and assisted us with tours. We also enjoyed great breakfasts and very delicious dinners cooked by them. The room was the most spacious we had in Vietnam. Thank you again!

An amazing place with a fantastic host! Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The owner is incredibly kind and accommodating – not only did he help us with everything we needed, but he also drove us to get food and brought us back. We truly felt welcomed here. The rooms were cozy and clean, the beds very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with great hot water. The quiet and pleasant surroundings make it the ideal place to rest after a busy day. This is hands down one of the best accommodations we’ve had in Vietnam. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality and affordable lodging in Phong Nha!
