Caracal Lodge was one of the most amazing places we've visited so far. Its remote location, the amazing views when you drive to the property and the stunning beauty of the property itself: almost like heaven. Craig is a great guy and he and his lovely dogs welcomed us. We were sad when we had to leave. Next time we will definitely stay a bit longer.

We loved being on the water with the resident hippos. There was a large area in which we could walk around. The locals were very welcoming and invited us to watch rugby on TV with them. The manager was warm and helpful.

A place that lives up to it's name, it was truly Home Sweet Home. The type of atmosphere that will have you forget about any worries or stress about the city life. The owner went out of her way to accommodate all of our requests and went the extra mile. Truly would recommend to all my friends and family and was the most affordable option I could find that accomodates a family stay. Self catering but don't bring any eggs for breakfast as this is sold fresh right there. Wow, I've travelled and stayed at many resorts, hotels, B&B's but this stay is definitely number 1 on my top ten list now. Peace tranquility and a warm welcome.
