Amazing, nice, cozy neat house, equipped with everything you need for life. Super design! A lot of self made things, the house is full of soul. we’ve enjoyed to stay there, it’s a place where you can relax and forget about all worries. All Wood work in the house made by owner and all little details that surrounds you made by his wife. 10/10!

Super friendly welcome! Everything was clean and comfortable and refreshing. Kitchen had all the necessities, as well as an indoor braai facility. Awesome outdoor area to admire the fynbos and birdlife. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Would definitely make a detour to go stay there again. The owners/staff were just the nicest people, with great local advice. Really lovely people

We received a very warm welcome from the most wonderful hosts. The room was small but very cozy and spotless, as was the bathroom. From the terrace we enjoyed a lovely view across the neighborhood, reaching all the way to the ocean. On the other side of the terrace, the Kitcheria offered an indoor braai, plenty of kitchen utensils, and thoughtful extras like instant coffee, tea, milk, sugar, and rusks. We slept incredibly well with the sound of the waves in the background and woke up feeling refreshed. This was our very first stop after more than 20 hours of traveling from Berlin, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place for our first two nights. The penguin colony and the beach are both just a 5–8 minute walk away. If we ever return to this region, we would absolutely love to stay at Penguins Nest again.

What a gem. Beautiful decor, cleanliness, attention to detail and so much more. Host Engela is warm and welcoming and her knowledge and information of the area was much appreciated. Excellent position and views of mountain and sunrise was stunning. Highly recommend Klipwerf 👌

    Bettys Bay is a charming little coastal town.

    Bettys Bay is a charming little coastal town. I think its perfect for tourists and locals if you are looking for a laid back breakaway. Its quite easy to get around and find different places of interest. We enjoyed visiting the Stony Point Penguin Colony. We spotted quite a number of birds. There are lovely trails for short hikes on the mountainside. The beach is wonderful with white soft sand. The water is quite cold though.

    Betty's Bay has so much to offer a holiday maker.

    Betty's Bay has so much to offer a holiday maker. Stoney point penguin colony, Harold Porter Botanical Garden, hikes through the biosphere for all physical abilities. Sand boarding, surfing and kite surfing, cycling or join the Park run every Saturday held at the Botanical Garden. Beautiful sandy beach to relax on or do some fishing.

    Stony Point (Penguin) boardwalk was closed - I think as a result of the storms, but no info available. Harold Porter Gardens were lovely, spoilt only by the wet weather on the day of my visit! Nearly Kogelberg nature reserve also incredible and worth a visit for hikes though wouldn;t recommend the MTB option there. Beach and coastline were incredible. No really 'centre' but a nice place to visit and escape for a few days.

    If you need a break from work and just want to re energise...

    If you need a break from work and just want to re energise Betty’s Bay is the place to do it. Very quiet and enough to do if you are feeling the need to do something like hike to the waterfall or watch the waves. Harold Porter Garden has so much to explore. Perfect place to have a picnic or just watch the world go by. The locals are extremely friendly and proud of their town so chatty if you have questions but polite enough to wait for you to ask questions.

    Betty's Bay is beautiful, and there are lovely hikes in the area. Unfortunately, public transport is non existent, which makes it nearly impossible to do point-to-point hikes in the area. Unless you have R750 to spend on a shuttle service. For a group, that would be fine, but for a couple, it's outrageous.

    Everything was at the standard of a 5stars hotel even though this is an B&B. The property is stunning but what makes it even better is the service you get. Robyn is going to take care of you every step of the way. Every morning we woke up to a very tasty, customised, fresh breakfast by the ocean. She also accommodated my gluten free diet paying attention to every detail. Robyn would also give us suggestions about what there is to do around Betty’s Bay which we found super useful and kind of her.
