Great that some rooms were on ground floor and others upstairs. We had 9 people and it was not cramped, very spacious. Owner was very receptive and helpful. Will definitely go back.

Nestled along a pristine coastline, Salty Sandals is an idyllic holiday home that captures the essence of coastal living. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped by a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The property itself is a stunning blend of modern comforts and seaside charm. Large windows frame breathtaking views of the ocean, filling each room with natural light and the gentle sound of waves lapping at the shore. The open-plan living space, adorned with elegant coastal decor, invites you to unwind in style. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and ample counter space. The bedrooms are true sanctuaries of relaxation. We particularly appreciated the master suite, where waking up to the sunrise painting the ocean in hues of pink and gold felt nothing short of magical. The location couldn’t be better – just steps from the beach, we spent our days basking in the sun, strolling along the water. What truly sets Salty Sandal apart, however, is the attention to detail. The hosts have thoughtfully included all the little luxuries that elevate a stay from enjoyable to unforgettable. Cozy blankets for chilly beach evenings, and beach towels right by the door, were just some of the thoughtful touches we appreciated. Communication with the hosts were also seamless; they were attentive and available, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Their local tips made exploring the area even more enriching. In summary, Salty Sandals isn’t just a holiday home; it’s a sanctuary that rejuvenates the soul. It offers comfort, beauty, and a sense of peace that is hard to find elsewhere. We left with full hearts and plans to return, already dreaming of our next seaside escape.

The view was was absolutely beautiful. The ride up, was amazing. The location of the property gave us a beautiful view of the harbor and ocean. Absolutely spectacular.

Its a beautifully thought out family friendly property.

Its a beautifully thought out family friendly property. Its a pleasure preparing family meals in the well equipped open plan kitchen and dining area. Then enjoying them on the beach facing terrace table while observing dolphins frolickingly in the ocean. Lovely braai facility on the deck too, with all the braai grids and pooitjie pots you may need, there also. The property is designed in such a way that a family of six, or even only one or two guests will feel comfortable using all or only a few of the facilities. Under cover parking would have been the cherry on top, but the area is patrolled by security vehicles that we saw, during the night. We felt safe at all times.
