This is a hidden gem and well worth the travel. It is South Africa's highest town at 2100m above sea level and breathing can be an issue if you have lung problems. We have stayed in Dullstroom many times, and it never disappoints! On this quick one-night stopover we ate supper at The Dullstroom Inn. The train passing close by was a fun experience and we enjoyed hearing it hoot! The cabin was clean and had a personal touch(we visited over Easter time, there was chocolates and Easter eggs for us). It was also warm and cozy with electric blankets, wall heaters and blankets. Matty and her son were insightful and sent us all the links to popular places nearby.
