Every single thing! The attention to detail, the design, the hospitality, the views, the amenities, literally everything was exceptional. To top it off there were zebras in the estate too! But in all honesty, it was the nicest hotel / lodge I have ever stayed at. Pichy and Bjorn have honestly thought of it all and it honestly goes to show. The food, the experiences and their communication was 11/10. I would recommend Pure Sea Boutique Lodge to all. I really do hope that I will be back !

The best stay ever!! We felt home from the minute we arrived. The rooms are very comfortable, the house is a treasure and Jonathan is the best host, going out of his way to make your stay unforgettable. Make sure you enjoy a dinner prepared by Jonathan. What a great place! Spacious room, very nicely decorated and with everything you need. An enjoyable addition was a pretty set of candles which could be used at the balcony to create romantic atmosphere. Everything very clean, spotless sheets and towels. We felt completely spoiled. Breakfast was not only delicious but also looked like a piece of art. We had to leave early to the airport the second time so we got the best breakfast package we have ever had. A big thank you to the lovely, dedicated hosts. Our stay at 65oncliff was like cherry on a cake for our stay in South Africa. We hope to come back during the whale season!

The penguin rehabilitation centre was excellent. The harbour is not tourist friendly. If you come to Gansbaai you would love to eat take away fish, But Saturday ,late afternoon no fish and chips were open

Gansbaai was a comfortable city with spectacular views where our family explored the southern coast of South Africa. We discovered hidden beaches, spotted many beautiful Protea flowers, sunbathed on Pearly Beach, went to the fish market in the harbor at Gansbaai, lunched on butter chicken and fish and chips at the Blue Goose, restaurant on Hoop St, hiked Klipgat Caves at the Walker Bay Nature Reserve, glimpsed a pod of orcas, and a mother Southern Right whale and her calf, spotted three of the Marine Big 5, dined at the White House, saw Danger Point lighthouse along a four wheel drive track along the beach, found crazy amounts of beautiful shells on the beach. It was an epic adventure.

Amazing place and location.

Amazing place and location. The staff were very friendly though, especially Carol who makes my wife day so special on her birthday much appreciated, she even upgraded our room that was amazing The ocean view was spectacular, and the breakfast was next level anytime again for me to visit Sea Star Lodge.

We had the king suite, which is enourmous and has the best view on the bay with a lot of windows. The pictures don't do it justice. We also had Christmas dinner with amazing food and a good breakfast. The small indoor poor is also nice to just relax after arriving in the evening before dinner, especially in warm days. The place seems to be a personal home but also used for a hotel. So you have the extras people would only get for their own home like a nice bath, more cosy and comfortable rooms and just better quality.

In this apartment you immediately feel comfortable, because you know how much love these friendly people have put into it. Deon and Linda are a real delight. They gave us valuable tips, helped with restaurant recommendations and provided us with a great breakfast. The wonderful place they've built is only outshone by their kindness. Stay there if you visit Gansbaai!!
