The breakfast was exceptional; made to order with a lot of variety. The staff was very accommodating to my tastes. Alfred the manager is excellent, ready to help in any way possible. The deluxe room was large and very comfortable. the morning sunlight streamed into the room. Spacious bathroom as well. Lots of little touches such as comfy robes, slippers, toiletries. There is room service but it was better to dine in the sun room overlooking the lovely gardens. It was fun to see the children playing at the kindergarten that is on the premises. I was there in early Spring so vegetation was still sparse, however, there was still greenery and lots of birds. be aware that planes fly overhead occasionally because of the nearness to the airport but it's soothing rather than disruptive if you like planes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon! The shuttle service leaves every half an hour to and from the airport. The breakfast was excellent and the dining room for dinner had the most amazing romantic ambiance. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful!

On our way back from Zambia to Austria we chose your hotel because of the perfect location close to the airport. It exceeded all our expectations. We experienced a very warm welcome at the reception, enjoyed the nice room as well as dinner and breakfast. The staff's attentive care for their guests is outstanding. In fact, if there were a staff competition, yours would win the gold medal !!! After having checked out, one of your friendly porters accompanied us with all our luggage from the hotel right to the counter of our airline: unbelievable... never experienced before... thank you !

The fact that it is closer to the airport - I would advise...

The fact that it is closer to the airport - I would advise anyone who is looking for stay over for a very early flight to please book at Morningstar. Location felt so safe - shops are not far to get any thing you need.

Perfect location for airport stay-over. Shuttle buses to hotels behind Intercon hotel. Close by but difficult to find if you are not farmiliar with location . However, enough airport staff to assist in getting you there.

The location, close to the airport is the single most important fact about this B and B and the price is extremely reasonable but unless you have a car it is inconvenient. The B and B is off the beaten track and there is not much around it and it certainly is not walkable. Kempton Park itself is not worth visiting.

Kempton Park was deserted to wrong people.

Kempton Park was deserted to wrong people. Everyone enters Ekurhuleni and stays wherever and appear to do whatever they want. It is full of people who appear not to care about it. It is dirty to say the least. Less care. However, i am happy about some of the new and ongoing developments. BirchLeigh and Norkem Park need potholes closed. The buildings need refurbishments. Kempton Park Town needs to be renewed. Glen Marais remains the better so far. Down-town and towards the Airport need cleaning and collection of dirt at night.

Decent area, felt safe at all times.

Decent area, felt safe at all times. To have fun, the prices are lower than the likes of Sandton but its also quite distant from those premium areas and the cost becomes equalized once you factor in things like uber/bolt. Stay if you dont plan to roam a lot.

This trip through parts of sub-Saharan Africa, I stayed in about twelve hotels, some only two star, a couple 4 star, but Sunrock was my absolute favourite! Such lovely, welcoming, helpful staff. A great breakfast and dinner! Beautiful Gardens and Pool area, and fantastic bar. The vibe is laid-back and casual, but it's all so beautifully clean and well manicured and comfortable, it feels really classy too! A peaceful, relaxed, friendly stay! Oh, and their spa services offer great massages! Highly recommend!

The plug points are outdated, it's also loose I couldn't charge because I had to hold the adapter whole time. The bed is very old it has springs making noise. The carpet has lost the luxury in it its basically old. The pool was dirty. The breakfast was OK, the stuff Excellent, shuttle service excellent service. The hotel itself needs some revamping

The hotel room had plenty of space. It was absolutely perfect for a layover between flights to and from Johannesburg. The free shuttle service and being less than 10 mins from the airport was HUGELY convenient for us.

Location and staff were great! Restaurant and bar areas are very attravtively decorated and spaceous. Loved the personal approach of Louis (Marketing Manager) and meeting the Hotel Manager on arrival.
