Everything was amazing. Bedroom is so comfy, with a good bathroom and hot shower. The garden and common areas are wonderful. You can choose the breakfast, and the meal is delicious. The owners are the best, so helpful and nice. We liked so much that we went back there after Kruger.

We had a very relaxing stay at the cottage. Very peaceful and great to hear the stream right outside. I enjoyed watching the hornbills in the trees in the morning. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant where we picked up the keys.

We had a huge, stunning family lodge with lots of outside space. Was cleaned every day. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to help. Small & friendly place to stay with excellent food You can see elephants, hippos & other wildlife from your ballon or from the restaurant. Such a stunning location.

I arrived by car from Johannesburg after a long trip. A delicious local BBQ was organized by Sue and the staff on that night where my kids devoured the meat! We also did the laundry (hand washed) and hung our clothes in the back of the house. Next morning, the staff had folded everything :-) Heading to Krueger the next day, Sue was super knowledgeable and gave us advices that were super useful to get around.

Location is absolutely perfect for visiting Kruger and definitely lived up to its name as we saw a young male elephant on the river bank just metres away from us! Lovely little villas, decent kitchen and helpful staff - this was our 2nd stay and I'm sure we'll be back again!

Crossing the border at RSA side is sickening and wonder why no one does anything about it. I am sure the guest lodges are losing business as no body wants to cross the MOZ/RSA border. I think all the guest lodge owners and the shop owners should take it up with the authorities.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was the essence of tranquility. Prolific bird life. I enjoyed the visit from the hippo's and hubby enjoyed the tiger fishing albeit he lost one to a croc. Do take mosquito spray with as they are very small but have a mean bite. The staff are all super friendly and always willing to help. The little restuarant was great with simple food prepared excellently.

A good place to stay and better than Crocodile Bridge if you...

A good place to stay and better than Crocodile Bridge if you want to be close to Kruger but have a choice of eating places and much better value places to stay than SanParks. We recommend the Kommatipoort Golf Club for a drink or a meal on their wonderful balcony with beautiful views over the river. The Stoep Cafe on Rissik St also has good food with a lovely garden area.

This was the most fantastic stay ever!!!

This was the most fantastic stay ever!!! Everything was just great. From the property to the service, we received. We could have stayed another month. So tranquil and the garden with the waterfall are just what we needed after a very difficult year. The stay really revived us, and we went back home, refreshed and recharged.

Mind the truck weighing centre and don't turn off the N4 too...

Mind the truck weighing centre and don't turn off the N4 too soon! Also, signage into Komatipoort is poor for the distance you need to travel from the N4 into the main street of the town. Stop streets for cross roads are not great and street markings are poor.

A great base for exploring Kruger, so you don't have to stay overnight in the park. Recommended: Ecolux Hotel and Tambarina Guesthouse. The latter also offers game drives in Kruger and has a fantastic restaurant serving Mozambican cuisine.

THIS IS REALY A GEM IN KOMATIPOORT. THE ACCOMODATION WAS EXCELLENT AND VERY SPACIOUS WITH A BEAUTIFULL VIEW. THE HOST ERMINE IS A PLEASANT LADY AND MADE US SOME BREAKFAST TO TAKE WITH EARLY MORNING. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
