A magical setting amongst some of the prettiest countryside we have seen .. Charming accommodation. Delicious dinner and a sumptuous country breakfast .. totally loved our stay only wish it were for longer.. and just to add the staff so lovely and incredibly helpful .. After leaving my IPad behind the management went to great lengths to ensure it was forwarded on to me .. most grateful for the assistance 🙏🌸

The Blue Lily Retreat is amazing and and a great value-for-money stay if you want to experience the real, off-the-beaten- track Swartberg mountains. This is a real family stay and the hosts extremely accommodating and kind. Our daughter didn’t want to leave as she befriended the hosts dogs and cat. Highly recommend!

Quiet and secluded lodge with a limited number of rooms (ie. other guests) and lots of room to unplug and experience free roaming animals (even on the property!). Safari experience being less "touristy" as area for animals is huge and much less Safari vehicles roaming than in other places, so you were able to see them in their natural habitat rather than feeling like in a big zoo. Excellent food and also able to cater for dietary requirements (it's very rare to get dairy-free pancakes for breakfast :-) )

This place is truly a hidden gem. It is off the beaten track and located in the most amazing place. With views on high cliffs with waterfalls, beautiful fynbos and loads of friendly farm animals walking around. The accommodation itself was spotless clean, very comfortable and didn't lack in anything. The private swimming pool hidden in the fynbos was such a nice surprise! The owners are super friendly, hospitable and keen to help out. This was one of our favorite places to stay during our two months time in SA!

De Cango Farm was one of the best accommodations we stayed at during our trip through South Africa. We truly wished we could have spent more time there. We loved the peaceful, secluded location. Both the common area and our room were well equipped and decorated with great attention to detail. We would especially like to highlight Nonki, the Lodge Manager, who was incredibly welcoming and attentive.

The house is a gem! It has everything you need and then some:) Great bedrooms and baths, wonderful kitchen with all supplies, TV room with four comfy chairs. Wonderful garden with a small pool. Close to the main street.
