It was the perfect holiday oasis far from reality but conveniently close enough to civilization. The food was absolutely delicious, every person working there was so wonderful and genuinely invested in our stay being comfortable and enjoyable. We travelled from Germany and stayed for a two-day stopover coming from the Kruger Park. The place was immaculate. Beautiful, clean, quiet, comfortable room and beds, our kids loved swimming in the pool. Great breakfast, Susann was really helpful with everything. The garden and views are beautiful.

The lodge recently changed owners, but has kept on much of the staff and is very recognizable to anyone having stayed there before. The location is extremely peaceful and serene, yet just a few minutes drive from the excellent Casterbridge lifestyle center, with all its charming shops and eateries. The staff is lovely and made us feel right at home. There is no playground, but the lush grounds offer plenty of space for kids to run around and explore. Our kids really loved sleeping in a bunk bed in a family room as well. We did not have dinner on-site, but we very much enjoyed the yummy hot breakfast options. We will definitely be coming back.

A wonderful place, beautiful, pretty styling of the entire house, fully equiped kitchen. Great and comfortable beds. We stayed here with our 3 teenage girls and had lovely and spacious bedrooms and 2 beautiful styled and comfy bathrooms. Fluffy towels, beautiful outside seating area. Close to the South entrace of Kruger Park. Very friendly hostess.

Everything. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. Very clean. A special mention to 'penguin', who gives marvellous massages. I advise anyone to make sure you get a massage with her. Great seeing the animals wandering around, saw two giraffes wandering around early morning too. Lovely place would definitely recommend to anyone. Only about 15-20 mins from Nelspruit and most tours will come there to pick you up. Food was lovely.
