The staff at the hotel are probably most friendliest and accommodating we have ever experienced, always polite and smiling. From the waiters to cleaners and down to managers. Room was large and comfortable, the view was just spectacular, and having deer and monkeys running past your door is just adorable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, and having person cook eggs fresh just for you was just great. The hotel seams to have everything you can think of to make the stay just a little more entertaining. on top of the spa and golf there was also pool and tennis courts as well as games room and BBQ facilities. If we ever in the are we will definitely stay there again.

The kitchen was a delight to use, the bedrooms were spacious and serene, and the outdoor area — especially the patio overlooking the fairway — quickly became my favorite spot for morning coffee and evening sunsets.

The actual town is not of interest.

The actual town is not of interest. We tend to go to the Beach Cafe (which is run by the conservancy) which overlooks the sea. It is always spotless and the service is good - but its the location which makes it extra special. It is also pet friendly.

Pennington is this really small but friendly and beautiful...

Pennington is this really small but friendly and beautiful coastal town. There is not a lot of nightlife if this is your thing, but it is well suited for a relaxing time with all the amenities you need and is close by bigger towns if you need something more.

Lovely coastal town with everything you need in close...

Lovely coastal town with everything you need in close proximity to a large number of holiday homes. Road could use some work, but adds to the charm of the place. Be sure to visit the Beach Cafe run by the local community where the proceeds are used for local upliftment and environmental projects. More off the beaten track than local Scottburgh, it's a must for those looking for a quiet weekend away.

Pennington is a small community village with a number of interesting spots to eat out (limited though), a small supermarket and bottle store and a pharmacy which stocks the basics. Lovely beaches in the area.

The Estate has beautiful views and looks better in person than in the pictures. Villa was spacious and the bedrooms were very clean and well maintained. Air conditioned rooms is great. All fascilities were working in good order. Bathrooms were amazing . The estate is also close to the beach and amenities which makes it ideal for family outings. Overall this is an amazing place! Great job to Beatrix and the team for making our stay a great experience.

We appreciated the very friendly welcome on arrival by the host, Mark. It felt very much like a pet-friendly home away from home, with a lovely walled in garden for our dog. Waking up for sunrise over the sea was easy knowing that the beach was just 100 meters away. The accommodation was clean, neat and comfortable.

A very clean place with great kitchen and the aircon rooms was amazing with KZN being so hot. Kathy sent us the loadshedding schedule daily and help us with anything we needed. We will stay again
