Comfortable and Relaxing not too easy to be found, use google maps to get there comfortable. The lodge has a couple of luxury huts, quite in distance to each other. The rooms are big, very big. Very nice furniture. Very clean. High level standard. Food is very good as well. Service always perfect and friendly. Wifi existing and strong. All in all very luxury place, very romantic atmosphere. You get value for your money! Would we come again? YES !!

It was a comfortable place to stay. The room has an air conditioner, bar fridge, and DSTV. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was real value for money. I'll definitely come back when I visit Jozini again.

Our previous visit was too short and we promised ourselves to come back again. Our stay this time was just as wonderful. Somkhanda is such a beautiful and unique game reserve and compared to many other lodges and private game reserves it is still good value. If you don't expect unnecessary luxury (our opinion) then you will love it here. We highly recommend taking the game drive whether you have a 4x4 or not as our guide Riaan is so knowledgeable and you will get to see a lot more of this gem of a game reserve. The staff are also so friendly and helpful and if you are not self catering there is a little restaurant offering a limited but tasty selection of dishes. We hope to be back again.
