Great place to stay, i really enjoyed my time there and extended the stay. This accommodation is actually in a manor house in which the owners do regular movie screenings for the local neighborhood including drinks, dinner, and occasionally a rugby game. Lovely people, the cafe next attached is really good, too. Can only recommend, also for workationing!

This was my second time staying at Spier and I loved it just as much. The whole estate is beautiful and you should definitely book a wine tasting and try their food/restaurants, too. The "hotel" consists of charming little houses with spacious and cozy rooms with large, bright bathrooms. One of our highlights was the huge breakfast buffet!

Just amazing! The views from the pool are the best part of the hotel if you ask me, really I can lay there all day. The rooms are spacious and the beds super comfortable. The people are really lovely and the wine and wine tasting make the experience complete. I hope to come back one day!!

This is a great hotel with little houses. You get an apartment with two rooms, kitchenette. The breakfast was amazing, ask for the omelette. The Wingerd restaurant is great for a nice dinner with a variety of wines. The hotel is surrounded by a breathtaking area of mountains and vineyards. Magnificent historical homestead, set amongst the most beautiful gardens and gigantic old oak trees. Blissfully quiet starry nights blessed with the full moon for our stay and sunny days to explore Stellenbosch. So conveniently situated on the R44 for an easy drive to get everywhere. Our bedroom in the Manor House absolutely luxurious and gorgeous. Delicious breakfast every morning and a complimentary wine tasting which we all loved. Have savoured every moment shared with our girls who have stayed in their own rooms in the equally as beautiful Jonkershuis beside us. We highly recommend anyone coming to stay and enjoy Blaauwklippen which is steeped in history and showcases art displayed within their Wine Tasting area. Everything is a spoil and delicious with a wonderful and efficient team who take care of absolutely everything for you. Have loved every second …
