The place was impeccably clean with friendly staff who were always attentive and ready to assist. The atmosphere was beautiful and peaceful, offering breathtaking views from the pool. Exceeded my expectations. Amazing little place with breathtaking views, kitchen/ lounge/ dining area opens onto boma. So nice and spacious fitted with all that is needed. Nyala came to eat fruit out my children's hands at the campsite. Could see zebra, ostrich and buck from our boma. Lynne was really accommodating and friendly. Kids were so chuffed to be called to come see a baby Blesbok.

Dean and Leancha gave us a warm welcome. We made 2 great gamedrives with Dean and Leancha prepared super good meals for us. Lots of animals we saw at the waterhole in front of our room. We will come back for sure if we go to Dinokeng again !!

The hotel itself was wonderful. The breakfast, lunch and dinner options were great and the alcohol prices were very cheap. Our room and the location exceeded all expectations. Each of our game drives were amazing, Stefan was superb at explaining everything we came across and kept us all entertained during the chilly mornings.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was really well designed with a focus on self made hand crafted furniture of the host. The pool is heated and sun chairs are also provided. There were many pretty detail’s like a birds pond you could watch from the Veranda and weaver nests directly in front of the house. Apart from the lodge our host organised game drives on her own and with her colleague Johannes who are both trained field guides. We had great sightings on the drives. Just to name a few… we saw lions twice, buffalo 3 times, white Rhino and Elephants. We also saw many Antelopes, birds and some small reptiles like tortoises and lizards. In the end our Host Renate organised a Ultralight plane Safari on wich we saw a fresh giraffe kill antelopes and cheetahs ! All in all we can only recommend to stay at Bushveldmagic. Thank you Renate for creating this magnificent place. 😁😁👍
