The place is very clean, secure parking, modern finishes and close to amenities. I slept over when I was driving from KZN to JHB. I would definitely stop over again.

The area experienced an unexpected power outage, this caused extreme stress as we were attending a family wedding and needed power in order to get ready for the various wedding events. Larita was so helpful to assist us in moving rooms so that we could have access to the generator for power. On Sunday morning at 5am Larita went out of her way to start the generator so that we could get ready for the wedding. I would like to Thank Larita, the staff and owners of Bergbau Haus Guest House for helping us and for a pleasant stay.

A bit off the beaten path, but with an exquisite, expansive view of the countryside, my stay was magnificent. I was there for two nights (way too short)! There was a full breakfast, and the birding tips were invaluable.
