Everything was absolutely incredible from the hotel itself, to the staff, to the food, to the drives and guide. This was our first safari and was an incredible experience as we saw so many animals. Will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful lodge and a once in a lifetime experience. The staff was amazing, welcoming, caring and professional. We were so well taken care of, it felt like being over at granny’s. We even got ponchos, raincoats, water bottles, wake up calls. The rooms were always ready - curtains opened in the morning, closed at night, bed ready, a most friendly welcome note. We really just had to lay back. The rangers went above and beyond to find the big 5. We saw 4/5 (we only stayed for 1 safari day, the other guest saw 5/5 with the next morning ride). Really informative and pleasant safari rides, breakfast in the middle of the reserve included. The rooms / villas offered an incredible view with the all glass walls, they were huge and head everything from bathtub to fireplace. Food was amazing. What can I say - just experience it yourselves !!

We had an amazing experience during our two-night stay , it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by incredibly kind and attentive team. The hospitality was outstanding. The chefs prepared delicious meals, served in a beautiful location. We were truly spoiled with excellent service in a cosy, homey atmosphere. The lodge and the rooms itself was beautifully decorated, stylish yet authentic, and the view on the rock formation finished it. To the new owner, please keep it this way :)) The ambiance throughout our stay was intimate and personal. Our guide went above and beyond during the game drives, and we were lucky to see many incredible animals. Along the way, we made lovely stops for coffee or a drink, with a gorgeous view. They say African hospitality is special, and our stay here absolutely proved it!
A heartfelt thank you to Tumi, Pedris, Josefien, Ashton, Mantis and tumero (sorry if we got any names wrong!), you made our stay truly wonderful.

The lodge is lovely and comfortable. The fireplace on in the evening, water bottle on the night stand and the slippers by the bed at night were extra welcoming. Malvin was an excellent guide, very experienced, attentive, and dedicated to finding the animals we wanted to see. George and Bongani took great care of us, making sure we were always comfortable, and never hungry or thirsty. Chef Sophie and the team delivered quite high quality cuisine, tasty and varied dishes, the highlight being the Braai.

Everything! Room was lovely, with great view. Food was amazing - slightly unusual there wasn't really lunch unless you requested it. Hosts were very friendly and Zann the guide was brilliant- made the drives a real joy, regardless of what you saw.

This requires some drive on agravel road to access the private reserve but that's definitely worth the deal. The place is great, a large private reserve with lots of animals (plain game) where you can freely walk around. We stayed in a large chalet nicely setup and cosy, clean and provided with all the needed. The chalet is solar powered (you won't even thing about load shedding) and water is provided by a borehole.. We had our braai but we had to kill the fire quick due to strong winds (that very evening PTA got hit by an exceptional storm)... but we enjoyed the kindness of the owners ad much as the quietness of the place and all the plain game roaming around us. Thanks to them. I highly recommand that place if you love your own privacy and the bush.

This property was a pleasant surprise, and we loved being right on the river. The units are basic, but have all that you need to have an enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again if travelling that way, or even for a little getaway.
