This beautifully designed and cosily furnished cottage is an absolute gem! You can enjoy the amazing view into nature from inside through the big windows, from the big porch or - and this was our big highlight - from the fire-heated hot tub. At night you can watch the stars sitting in the hot tub with nothing but nature around. It is simply beautiful and a great place to calm down, relax and enjoy the quiet away from all street noise. Since it is entirely off the grid, it is not affected by loadshedding. We’d highly recommend taking a factory tour in the olive oil factory with Allison while there. Both Allison and Francis are very welcoming, friendly and caring hosts. If we ever make it back to South Africa, the trip up to the farm with this special cottage will be a must on the itenerary!

The aesthetic of the place was amazing, not to mention that you get complimentary drinks in the bar fridge that is provided in the room. Portia, who attended to us, was absolutely amazing! She definitely brings life to this accommodation. The breakfast served was to die for, not only was it tasty, but it was wholesome, fit for a King. I would definitely recommend a visit.

We had a wonderful stay, the area was very peaceful and the home was beautiful with a pool, braai area and pool tables for some entertainment. The pool area facing the beautiful mountain beackdrop was absolutely gorgeous. Our hosts were very welcoming from the start and checked in regularly to see if we needed anything. The room and showers were very clean and the room soft and beautifully decorated. The two beautiful doggies were my absolute favourite, so friendly and loving .
