The location is spectacular..the cottages and cabins sit at the side of the ocean outside Ingonish Harbour..The views are amazing. There are no restaurants within walking distance but take away options are a short drive away and the cottages have full facilities..A truly back to nature experience.
I would recommend taking a cottage or cabin and not the motel type room as there is no sound proofing in these...I viewed the cottages and they were fantastic with seperate bedroom and good sized kitchen in living room..

The view was amazing and it was great to have our own little cottage. The hosts were lovely and the small restaurant attached to the cottages was delicious and such friendly service. I booked our cabin the same day as our reservation and there was no hassle with checking in or booking. Parking was included.

The cabin was decorated in a way that made it cozy and welcoming
Everything was available that you could possibly need
The bed was so comfortable
The view from the deck was amazing
The attached restaurant "Fisherman's Table" was convenient and the food was great..We had the seafood chowder for dinner..very generous helping and really really delicious
I had the very berry pancakes for breakfast and they were the best pancakes I've had in years

Had the detached cottage. Great cozy place for 4 adults. One room with double bed, and one room with 2 twins beds, which was perfect arrangement for our group. Would recommend and return if in area.

great location to end the day at, friendly host the ocean side cabins were not open unfortunately but the cabin we were in was comfortable. clean with a deck and fireplace. I will be back to try out to ocean side cabin
