We loved staying at the quaint little ‘Ofenhaus’! It was everything we expected, based on the Booking.com description, and maybe even a bit better. :) The cleanliness was exemplary! I really am quite exacting concerning hygiene — and this place was literally spotless! The whole place smelt of fresh laundry when we walked in — it really doesn’t get any better than that! The water temperature and pressure in the shower are great! Since both my husband & I have long, luxurious hair, this is a crucial point for us. Many holidays have been ruined, alas, because of bad (cold, weak) showers — but not at the ‘Ofenhaus’! Everything works to perfection! The location is really quiet & calm, but the beautiful medieval town of Murten can be reached on foot (via a short walk of 1km). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely book the ‘Ofenhaus’ again if we happened to stay in the area in the future!

We loved our stay at Agnes place. It is well equipped and beautifully decorated house, with private garage, fire place, terrace to have a meal with the view - scenery around is very nice, you can also see the lake and mountains. 5 minutes drive to Estavayer (cute town with historical center). Very helpful host.

It's an amazing home! Lots of bedrooms for family members, big garden with more than enough shade and room for activities. The location is the perfect distance for daytrips to Interlaken/Brienz, Gruyere, Geneva etc and we definitely appreciated how quiet everything was in the village, definitely need to get groceries before your arrival. The rollshutters helped keep the house cool, and I am super grateful for the ergonomic bedpillows and the mosquito netting in all the bedrooms to be able to keep the windows open at night <3 The kitchen is heaven if you like to cook with all the amenities available, lots of fresh produce available in the neighborhood. Enough room in the living room for yoga or VR (if you take it with you) for the rainy days. We loved seeing the creations of the family displayed around the house. Communication with Lucas was very swift and he is very helpful during the whole process when we needed some extra info getting acquainted with the house. 10/10 would recommend! We went to The HR Giger Museum in Gruyere, drove the SustenPass, visited Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald, went swimming in the Brienzsee, went on multiple hikes and coming home to this villa was a treat on itself :)
