The villa is settled in a perfect location just 3 minutes walk from the best beach on the island, named Ponta Preta. It is located in a very nice calm resort with swimming pools and bars which gives you a lot of options for your stay. The nearby town of Santa Maria is just 10 minutes taxi ride. Beside that, there is a 24h security in the resort although the island itself is very safe and peacefull. Inside, it has 3 comfortable sleeping rooms, large living room with a kitchen equiped with a dish washer and a washing machine, huge balcony and a very nice garden with a small private pool, sunbeds and a table. One of the best things is that each room has its own separate bath which makes it very convinient if you are staying more people. The furniture is modern and all the home appliances are brand new. A very big plus is that you get your bath towels, beach towels and bed linens changed after 5 days. On top of everything, the owner JC, is the best host you can imagine. He was available all the time and gave us valuable advices and contacts regarding island tours, taxis, etc. All in all you can not wish for more if you're destination is Sal Island.

Wonderful Accommodation with Amazing Hosts – Highly Recommended! We stayed at Casa Pau on Sal in January 2025 and felt at home from the very first moment. The accommodation is very clean, quiet, and tastefully furnished – perfect for relaxing. A real highlight is the hosts, Berta & Rui: They are incredibly helpful and always go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Whether it’s tips about the island, organizing excursions, or small personal requests – they were always there to assist. We highly recommend Casa Pau and would definitely stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The villa accommodation and the resort is superior. Everything as described. Andrew is really helpful, and there's also help on site (called Nelson when we were there). The villa had just been renovated, with a new gas BBQ on the terrace, and ideally situated within easy reach of the beach and amenities. Many places accept local CVE currency, Euros, and credit cards.

luciano is such a lovely host! he made pur stay very pleasant! the property is beautiful and you get a good deal for the price! there is not a lot to do in palmeira but there are nice restaurants and you can take the colectivo to santa maria (for instance) for not much money!
