Amazing location. Line a dream place. Google map shows it on left side of the access road while it's on right side. Follow the instructions by host not Google. Glass balcony room is out of this world with heating in it. Very pretty and climbable hill at the back. Nice hot tub. Neighbour house keeps lights on all night that interferes with Northern lights viewing. This is the only negative point

Our stay at the cottage was an absolute delight! Surrounded by nature's beauty, although we missed the northern lights, the amenities were outstanding and catered to all our needs. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the cabin is very warm and cozy. I found myself dreaming of the Icelandic landscapes—it felt straight out of a fairytale. The place has some coffee, creamer, sugar, and a well-equipped kitchen with a stove made our short stay effortless. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone exploring Iceland! It was a wonderful stay, and we thank you for the memorable experience.

We loved staying here. The buses are lots of fun, they have everything you need and the surroundings are really beautiful. We had an amazing view! The kids made a campfire, climbed mountains and loved sleeping in a bus. Don’t stay here if you expect a regular hotel. It is a special place. Very easy to drive to Reykjavik and the golden circle. We had a hard time leaving.

Perfect not only for driving and sleeping outside the city, but also when flying home from Keflavík, since the van is parked just 2 minutes from the BSI terminal. Everything was clean and comfortable. The owner is honest and very easy to deal with, always happy to give advice.

Everything was fluid even those it’s a self checking process. The apartment was fully equipped as presented, very well heated with good wifi. Would have been perfect if we had coffee pods available but otherwise everything was perfect.

Lovely cabin, sufficiently distant from the city to enjoy being in a quiet and peaceful place, but close enough to conveniently drive there (not very far from main road but we couldn't hear or see it from the cabin) and drive to get groceries. It's very well equipped, everything you need is already there. It's also decorated in a very homely manner which makes you feel very at home there, doesn't seem like a rental place. Worked great for us as a starting base for driving around the island while the sun was up and get back to enjoy the hot tub or look for northern lights in the evening.

We had a very joyful stay in Namshestar. The flat has a great view over the fjord to the Esja mountain. Everything was very clean and with cozy inventory. Also Ragnheidur is a very pleasant and kind host, always available and helping at any time (even with preparing a delicious birthday surprise for my girlfriend :)).
