The apartment location is amazing, within the maze of backstreets of Bari old town. Minutes walk to an abundance of bars and restaurants as well as the sea front promenade. We had good communication with the host, giving clear instructions for an easy arrival, they also helped with information on the area and were very quick to help with any questions. The apartment was spotlessly clean and though it was small had everything you need for a short stay. This is a quirky place and will not suit everyone, but we loved it, especially with the private roof terrace.

Located in the old town, this room was perfect for our short break. Easy access to shops and restaurants, and just 10-15 minutes from train station. The apartment was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Check-in was easy and convenient because the host gave us the necessary instructions with small videos. We stayed at Francesco’s house for almost a week and really everything was great. From the size of the house, to the facilities provided, and the contact was fast and flawless. He’s a warm welcoming personality and spent a lot of attention to decorating his holiday home in the smallest details to his tastes. We read the comments about the small shower in the toilet, but people should be aware this is a holiday home, within a minute walking distance from the beach. So this was not a problem to us since we are not wasting our time in a shower. The shower does what it needs to do and after just open the door and the floor will be dry in a few hours. Free coffee (Nespresso) is also included and especially the location is superb. Free parking (safe area), 10 mins drive from Bari, 50 minutes from Alberobello, Lecce was also just under an hour. And since Puglia is home to the Burrata you can also find superb “real” fresh (made same day or day before) burrata which you would not find in other provinces of Italy. Francesco also went out of his way, because I told him that my mother loved the smell of the bedsheets and the great large pillows, and he instantly offered us to buy the specific detergents and disinfection brand which he promised us to deliver the moment we would return the keys of the house with the receipts included. In fact when we met him, he even helped us finding the right pillow, and since not many Italians speak English well (in our experience) he arranged the pillows for a bargain at the big local market. If we ever come back we would definitely stay longer! Host like Francesco are very rare to say the least!
