The cottage is located in a side street FROM ella. This makes it very quiet and you don't notice the hustle and bustle of the city. But you can be in the city centre in 5 minutes on foot. The cottage is small but very well equipped and everything you need is there. Everything was very clean and very comfortable. The WLAN also worked really well. Breakfast is served directly on the terrace and it was one of the best of our entire trip. Everything is freshly prepared and you can order either a Sri Lankan or an English breakfast. Simply delicious.Many thanks for the great stay

We can really recommend Racy Nature Cottage. The View from the balcony is just stunning and you can see a lot of animals from there too. Monkeys, deer and lots of birds. The place was very clean and the host family is so caring and lovely. They did our laundry, organized transport, offered dinner on the balkony (which was lovely) and they even invited us in their home for breakfast. You can walk from there to the train tracks in about 10 Min and to a very nice waterfall too. Really nice restaurant at the tracks too (Bee‘s cooking). We stayed a full week and had a great time.

Astral Zone Cottage is the perfect place to stay when spending a few days in Ella. Located outside of the main town and close enough that everything you want to do whilst in Ella is accessible. The property is located 10 minutes from the train tracks where you can then pick up trails to Ella’s Rock in one direction and Ella town and nine arch bridge in the other. The host, Maduranga, is super helpful, organising really reasonable tasty dinners and tuk tuks. He is really friendly but also respectful of privacy. Would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage. The view is also great.

The best accommodation and experience we had in Sri Lanka, be sure to stay at least 3 nights! I dare to claim that is also the best accommodation in Ella. Don't let the location put you off, the house is not in the center, but that's only an advantage, because the surrounding nature and peace is stunning. In addition, the owner will help you with deliveries to the center. I felt at home there, the hosts are extremely nice people, excellent breakfasts, a view that I will miss every day from now on. I have to get back here!

Priyanka is an awesome kind and caring host! She served us a delicious breakfast in the morning and also the day of the departure she woke up at 5 to cook an early takeaway breakfast for us💕. Her husband drove us to the train station, that was so kind. Priyanka arranged for us a great excursion to the tea factory and 2 astonishing waterfalls. Excellent hospitality and care! The room is in the homestay and has necessary goodies ( shampoos, soap, tea coffee). The homestay offers a fantastic view from the room. It's also very close to the Little Adams peak and ravana zip line. It's a bit far from the town centre but we loved walking 😍 to it. Around 20 mins.

Super nice view, clean and tidy, awesome breakfast! Also our ‚host‘ was really nice and helpful, we’d definitely recommend a stay there! He helped us carry our luggage since there a lot of stairs down to the cottage. It’s not exactly super central but you can always take a TukTuk to the city centre (our host organised it for us :)) and you’re there quick, but can also get back more into nature again for a relaxing stay after the city‘s rush!

This is a cute hostel near the center of Ella. The location is strategic for those who will visit the Nine-Arch bridge and little Adam's peak. It is also a short drive to Ella railway station. There are shops around the cottage which are very helpful for immediate purchase and emergencies. The host is very kind. The room is spacious with seating area, dresser and toilet. There is also a cabinet for your clothes. There is a dining area just outside the room which is very comfy and relaxing. We had a lovely and filling breakfast.
