This is an hidden gem . The host is charming the rooms bed and facilities are by far the best equivalent to uk 5 star it cannot be faulted. The view is to die for the food we had dinner & breakfast was outstanding 10 out of 10 for everything . I would 100% recommend this hotel you will not be disappointed.

I don' t have the words to describe how beautiful is this property, how nice and welcoming are all the people that work there and how pleasant and memorable was out stay there. I will try to explain why you should definitely stay there: 1. The staff, especially Sri - these are incredible people, who were not just doing their job, but who did the impossible to make our stay more comfortable and pleasant. They were always smiling, helped us with transport and tours and made us feel like a celebrity. 2. The food - the most delicious meals for our two weeks stay in Sri Lanka. The chef should definitely get a Michelin star. 3. The garden - lovely, well maintained garden, where we had breakfast and dinner. 4. The house - beautiful, old colonial building, which is very well preserved without any big renovation. It is a place for connoisseur - you can feel the spirit of the old times. 5. The surroundings - the building is in the middle of the tea fields. The views are breathtaking. 6. The tea tour - it was really good. Totally recommend it. With few words - it is a luxurious place, where the luxury is not in possessions, but in the attention, the attitude and the unforgettable memories.

Daresh home stay is really wonderful - the rooms are clean, spacious and the balcony of our room overlooked a little stream which meant it was quiet set back from the road. Deva and his family are lovely people - they went above and beyond for us for one of our birthdays and were always checking in if we needed anything else. The food was amazing and they even packed us a delicious breakfast for our early bus the following morning. It’s really accessible by TukTuk to Sri Pada and I couldn’t recommend this place more! Thank you so much ☺️

All is good - and everybody are kindness

If we could rate Cabin 7000ft higher than 10/10, we absolutely would! This place is an experience in itself. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, and the level of care and service was outstanding. The location is simply breathtaking. Perched above Sri Lanka’s highest village, the views stretch endlessly over rolling farmland, where highland vegetables grow in neat rows, and behind the cabin lies a dense forest, home to local wildlife. Watching the landscape change with the light was magical. The cabin itself is a dream—spacious, spotless, beautifully designed, and instantly inviting. You arrive, take a deep breath, and feel at home. Everything is well-maintained, and you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into every detail. What really stood out was the hospitality. Not only were we looked after with great care, but even our guide/driver was well accommodated. The owner was always there with a smile, ready to help, even suggesting a beautiful hiking route and making sure we were set up for a great walk. A personal highlight: my partner’s birthday fell during our stay, and to our surprise, she was gifted a beautiful birthday cake—a gesture that truly made the day extra special. We also dined at the cabin, and it was one of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka. The owner and his wife clearly have a passion for good food, and it was a pleasure to taste it. Communication was seamless from the start, with quick and easy WhatsApp contact, making everything effortless. Cabin 7000ft is more than just a stay—it’s a special place that lingers in your memory long after you leave. Highly, highly recommended!

Everything is perfect! Staff are very helpful and friendly. All facilities are clean and well maintained. Outdoor breakfast is a plus.

One of the best places we visited during our stay in Sri Lanka. They have fabulous rooms. You feel like an aristocrat living in the 19th century during breakfast and dinner and regard that you didn't bring a suit with you. The facility is located near a tea field that you can visit, also the hotel organized a tour to the nearest tea factory which was also an excellent experience.

I cannot speak highly enough about this accommodation! It exceeded all my expectations. It is cleaned to the highest standards, comfortable, stylish, well equipped and decorated. The hosts were amazing! Nothing was too much for them and they made sure I had everything I needed and more. It feels like this property is literally situated on top of the world. It is in a remarkable location and is a little haven to return to after seeing the sights in this beautiful area. I would stay here over and over if I could. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Exceptional!

Great place and breathtaking location! The Flaming tree Resort is the perfect choice to live in the middle of the nature between waterfalls and tea plantations! The owners are absolutely lovely and ready to help you in all needed! Room and resort stunning with all facilities you need. Thanks thanks thanks 😄
