Nabitunich ligt op 9,1 km van Cahal Pech en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben een patio en gratis WiFi. We waren hier drie nachten en hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf. Je logeert op de boerderij met een fenomenaal uitzicht omgeven door allerlei dieren. Het ontbijt is heerlijk (gracias Marta), gratis drinkwater en de wandeling langs de rivier naar Xunantunich is genieten. Wij zagen onderweg de brulapen en enkele toekans. Dominic is een perfecte gastheer die je vanaf de eerste seconde thuis laat voelen. Op verzoek kookt hij voor de gasten een lokaal gerecht. Wij zouden deze plek zeker aanbevelen en komen zeker terug! Tip: bekijk de zonsondergang vanop het bankje bovenop de kleine heuvel.

Villa Divina at Framadani estate - Jungle villa with a pool heeft uitzicht op de bergen, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad en een balkon, op 3 km van Cahal Pech. This property and caretaker David just were above and beyond what we could have hoped for! What a beautiful house with all the amenities just minutes from town. Howler monkeys and plenty of birds made every morning memorable. I have never seen such detail and thought go into the decor and feel of each room. We felt at home here and will be back.

CAJIMA Villa 2 heeft uitzicht op de stad, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin en een terras, op 16 km van El Pilar. Owner met us on arrival and was very helpful letting us know about the property facilities. The location was great, very easy to get to local restaurants and shops, and also very handy for the Mayan attractions nearby. The cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

RiverHill Hideaway bevindt zich op 7,6 km van Cahal Pech en biedt een tuin en een privéstrand. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een terras en gratis WiFi. Loved everything about our stay here, it was pure perfection. If it’s available, do not pass up the opportunity to experience it. The lodge is beautiful and so well designed and presented, with lovely homely touches, clean spacious shower room, comfortable bed and bedroom with cracking aircon, great outdoor seating area, in all just cannot fault it. Communication with Hadas/Dusty was spot on, Hadas also arranged for us to do bird watching and cooking onsite with Flora, both of which were great experiences. On arrival we were met by Willy and Stinky who are both adorable and so friendly, they spent a lot of time with us when we were there! Willy was also a great swimming buddy in the river. Facilities in the lodge were second to none and also catered for our unstated needs! Fully stocked kitchen and a bonus of running bottled water. Having the river there to both cool down in and sunbathe by was a bonus and well used with the humidity at the time we stayed. The location was perfect for us, far enough from town to be remote and only a few mins drive into civilisation. Albert, the main man on site in the day, was lovely and friendly and we had some good conversation with him. The security here is also good, with an electric entrance gate and non intrusive cameras, but Willy and Stinky were the best security, making sure you knew about any movement even remotely near the property! They also slept outside our room on a night, ready and waiting for a breakfast treat in the morning! So cute. If you’re not a dog lover though, they won’t bother you, so please don’t be put off by them being there.

Alma Del Rio Eco-Comfort on the water bevindt zich in San Ignacio in de regio Cayo, op 6,1 km van Cahal Pech en biedt gratis WiFi, een barbecue, een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. Super mooi huisje. We hebben de toekan gespot en kwamen allemaal mooie vogels voorbij. Echt heel cool. Ook de tuin en de rivier zijn erg mooi. Maar het beste van alles was wel de service van de eigenaren. Ze hielpen echt bij alles en waren enorm vriendelijk. Regelde taxi naar Sam ignacio (15 dollar - 8 minuten), regelde onze excursies naar de grotten en een nacht safari. En brachten extra biertjes. Echt ontzettend gastvrij en service gericht.

Villa Massis Luxury Villas ligt in San Ignacio met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. We truly enjoyed our stay in Villa Massis. The villas are very confortable and well decorated. The surroundings are amazing, between the jungle and the river. We got to see monkeys, parrots, squirrels, agoutis, all on site. It’s been mentioned by most guests , but we will say again, the food is amazing ! We had breakfasts and dinners at Villa Massis and it was delicious. Ingredients are fresh and full of flavors. A big thank you to the staff for their professionalism and kindness. Finally, we highly recommend a trip to Barton Creek and Rio on pools with Marc.

Licensed 2 bedroom cabin Close to San Ignacio, local dining, and adventure tours heeft uitzicht op de tuin, en biedt accommodatie met een balkon en een koffiezetapparaat, op 15 km van El Pilar. Such a nice family and location to stay. Very good descriptions of things to do, with or without official tours.

Kane Villas - Mountain Pine Ridge bevindt zich in San Ignacio in de regio Cayo, op 20 km van Barton Creek Cave en biedt gratis WiFi, een barbecue, een buitenzwembad en gratis privéparkeren. It was so nice to have our own little villa in the rainforest. The area felt so secluded but also very clean and safe. We also had trails to a waterfall and cave towards the back of the property which was great for exploring when we didn’t feel like driving. The room was well stocked and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were really impressed by how well the screens kept the bugs out and we loved laying in the hammock in the screened in porch. It was a bit cold to swim in the pool but we liked heading there in the evenings to relax and enjoy the evening. It was also wonderful to use the grill by the pool and super easy.

Family Suite @ Mahogany Hall bevindt zich in San Ignacio en beschikt over accommodatie met airconditioning en een terras. Deze accommodatie met uitzicht op de rivier heeft een balkon. Exceptional staff. They bent over backwards to accommodate anything we needed. Breakfast and dinner were generous and delicious. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. A/C worked great.
