The host was extraordinarily helpful and kind, and the home had so many beautiful details in every room that truly made our stay. We all really looked forward to coming back to the house in the evening, a testament to the cosy, spacious nature of the space. Overall, this house was the perfect base for our trip and we could not recommend it more highly!

The Muncaster Castle is within 37 km of the holiday home. The property is non-smoking and is set 34 km from Lake Windermere. The flat was very spacious and had a nice view of an old cottage across the road. Everything was clean with nice modern fixtures and appliances. Although the flat is right on the roadway, we had no road noise. Having off-street parking was a plus. We also liked having two full bathrooms. The kitchen had everything one would need for a short or long stay with a large refrigerator.

We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Ski Bar on site had good meals and lots of drinks choices and the staff were very accommodating. Very dog friendly. Try Riva Gelato just over on the campsite which has lovely ice creams to choose from. Easy to get to lots of different places from where we were. We were unfortunate enough to encounter almost a full day of heavy rain but the accommodation has a good TV with lots of channel choices so we were able to keep entertained when we couldn't get out. Communication with the owners was excellent. We will be visiting again.
