Dar Na is wonderful. We highly recommend it. The Dar is extremely spacious, very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. It is even more beautiful than in the photos. Location is perfect for exploring the Médina. A delicious and varied breakfast was prepared every morning for us by Fatima and Hicham, who are delightful. We were met at the parking lot and guided to Dar Na by Youssef. Communication was very clear and helpful.

In fact, I only booked for one night, but loved the location and property so much that I booked a second. To speak anthropomorphically, Dar Zaz is a home, not a hotel or a hostel. It is centrally located near the Blue Gate and sandwiched on a side street off of shops that offer more than just tourist paraphernalia (although that's there for you, if that's your thing), but also shops for toiletries, food, and other bric-a-brac necessities. You're also a very short walk from the Hammam Spa which was glorious. Dar Zaz was a respite after days of travelling through the country by car. Every artifact in the home is clearly selected carefully to not only provide comfort, but also a sense of Moroccan beauty. The property itself has modern amenities (finally, a washing machine), a rooftop terrace that is very private feeling, plenty of shower/bathroom space, comfortable beds, all the outlets worked, and it was impeccably clean. I made a fateful error of not being able to collect my keys at the time I originally requested, and Samira kindly stayed and waited for me with tea and pleasant conversation. Honestly it was my first real conversation in over a week of travel and I was so glad to have it. She is a wealth of knowledge about her city, and you should soak in as much as you can. There's nothing more to say other than enjoy your stay.
