This is a true gem. The property is beautiful, and the rooms have been newly refurbished - the bathrooms are lovely, the bedrooms are spacious and the included breakfast was also generous. Lastly, the staff were super friendly - particularly Hector, who helped me with an easy airport transfer even though I arrived very late at night and the owner, who was friendly and communicated with me well in advance and throughout my stay to ensure I had everything I needed. For the price it might be the best hotel I've stayed in!

Puerta Azul, it's a lovely place to stay in Roatan! I would not want to stay anywhere else. Our cottage/house was perfect, clean, stylish, and beautiful! The main house and the rest of the cottages were surrounded by unique plants and palm trees that gave plenty of privacy. The windows have screens, so bugs and mosquitoes were never a problem. Mosquitoes weren't a huge issue anyway. Some sand flies, but that is common across the whole Island. We were greeted with delicious coffee and an even more delightful breakfast every morning! I didn't know you could serve eggs in so many ways! The ingredients were fresh and of fantastic quality. The beach was located a few steps away from our house, with fantastic access to the reef. Reef, including Spooky Channel, is worth swimming too! We could see beautiful tropical fish. Once, we saw an eagle ray off the dock. There are hammocks at the end of the extended deck that we enjoyed a lot as well. Additionally, you can grab a kayak and explore the shoreline. Antony Key's is a few paddles away, from where you can see the dolphins kept in captivity. Since we wanted to visit many other places on the Island, we rented a car and were glad about it. I highly recommend doing it, because it allows you to explore more local foods and scenery. However, whenever we came back from West End, West Bay or other places, we were grateful for the peaceful and quiet Puerta Azul place. To sum up, I recommend staying at Puerta Azul. Talia, Augusta and the rest of the wonderful crew will do everything to make your stay unforgettable. Thank you for all your support!

We had a wonderful time here and were the only ones there. From the moment we booked, communication was excellent. Walter picked us up and took as grocery shopping. He helped us organise our hike and rafting tour. It was great to be able to use the kitchen. The view from the kitchen is very beautiful. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful, comfortable and cozy place. We enjoyed a lot Copán Ruinas and the balcony in the end of the day.

It is my second time staying at the hotel, I travel with my dog to visit the vet at the Rivera Clinic, it is the perfect place to relax away from San Pedro, I can walk my dog in the jungle, enjoy their amazing food and have a beer at the jungla bar while my dog is free walking around at the dog bar. Maria Jose at the reception is amazing, she take cares of every detail and now I know I have like my second home when I go to San Pedro with my dog, he has cancer and we need a check up every two month with the vets at the clinic, stressful time for me but we both find the peace staying at this wonderful place. I totally reccomend it, I will be back in two months.....

Large room, very clean. There was a lady from Tegucigaloa who was quite gentle and with whom I had a very nice chatting. Very good breakfast. I walked from the hotel to the city mall and it was fast and safe.

The Hotel is a architertural marvel, decorartions, garderns, and the whole facility is awsome. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Fanny, Isabel, Nacy, and the security guard provided an excellent expirence. The breakfast was based on a menu nad it was the best that I have in Honduras.
