This hotel is quietly situated 2 km from Lake Mývatn and 30 minutes’ drive from the Godafoss Waterfall and Krafla Crater. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with modern furnishings. Our stay at Hotel Laxa was fantastic! The room was compact yet functional and the view of the lake and mountains was magnificent! The tasty breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options and the team was quick to clear tables and efficiently manage the buffet. The hotel staff’s exceptional hospitality added a personal touch to our experience.

Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. It was the best hotel we stayed in this year in Iceland. The room is comfortable, and the view is breathtaking. Breakfast is good, with a lot of choices. We also had dinner in the hotel's restaurant, and we were happy with the food also.

Every staff member we interacted with were wonderful, especially Adele at the front desk and Tomas in the restaurant. This hotel is top notch and we decided to book another stay here towards the end of our trip because we loved it so much! The dinner was fabulous! We enjoyed every part of it from the homemade bread to the delicious main courses to the incredible desserts!!

Το Hótel Jökulsárlón - Glacier Lagoon Hotel βρίσκεται σε Gerdi, σε απόσταση 11 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Λίμνη Παγετώνα Jokulsarlon και προσφέρει καταλύματα με μπαρ και δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο... We loved breakfast buffet, everything was really delicious and fresh, various options to choose from. The room was clean, big and comfortable bed. The outdoor area with hot tubs and sauna were amazing. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Would recommend for sure!

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. One of my favorite hotels in all five trips I've done to Iceland. The staff are helpful and friendly and the place is very warm and cozy. The view of the lake from the room is perfect for viewing the northern lights right from your bed!!! The breakfast and dinner are excellent.
