Known for its wine-making and charming capital, Moldova sits north of the Balkans between Romania and Ukraine. The capital Chişinău is by far the country’s biggest draw, offering cultural landmarks like the Museum of Archeology and Ethnography, the Museum of Natural History, and the National Museum of Fine Arts. You’ll also fine many bars across the city which serve famous Moldovan wines. Outside of the capital, you can hike and bike through the scenic hills of the rolling countryside. The hotel is housed in a historic building in an extremely central location. The interior design is fascinating: a modern reinterpretation of Italian classicism, with artistic touches such as busts and half-busts that add a slightly theatrical, at times eccentric yet always elegant and tasteful character. The refined choice of colors and lighting creates a truly suggestive atmosphere. The room and bathroom were spacious, equipped with everything needed for comfort, and the mattress was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. The staff, always kind and attentive, made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Good option in the center of Tiraspol. Typical style hotel, walking from many sites of interest. Parking possible in front of hotel. Helpful staff, as I was unsure which border crossing to take to the direction of Purcari.
