Like a fine wine, the city has improved with age; its Roman Catholic cathedral flanked by an array of museums, shopping areas and 16th-century mansions converted into bars and restaurants. Other must-see attractions include the Hypogeum – a prehistoric burial site unearthed in 1902 – and the Megalithic temples which can be observed on both Malta and Gozo island. Malta’s rural beauty makes it perfect for all sorts of activities, such as hiking along the Gozo coast, sailing past secluded caves or diving amongst shipwrecks. If you’d rather ride a wave than dive below one, then numerous surfing spots are available, including Palm Beach, St. Thomas and Ghallis on the north shores of Malta. Comino is Malta’s smallest island but still worth a visit by any means. Its main draw is the Blue Lagoon – a huge pool of crystal-clear water on the uninhabited islet of Cominotto. Great location to explore Mdina. The old city is a 5 minutes walk. The hotel is a real boutique hotel, the attention to detail is amazing. Breakfast is served in a very stylish cozy room, good coffee,, friendly staff, enough to choose from. For general use the is is a roof terrace with a hot tub with a nice view towards the old city. Lunch tip: Maria's pastry, dining tip: the mondion Michelin restaurant or TownhouseNo3, both verry good with food and wines.

The place is very unique and you can feel yourself here like a real King or Queen! ))
The hotel is located in very nice small and old city Mosta, very close to the first capital Medina. The location is very good, there is a direct bus to Valletta + you can easily reach everything by taxi. We were lucky to be in Mosta during their main Feast with everyday celebrations, concerts, amazing fireworks!
Our room was very stylish, big, very clean with comfortable bed and air condition) The breakfast was very good, with fresh stuff, with good coffee and fresh orange juice.
The owner was very pleasant and friendly, she advises us many nice destinations and cool places!
Totally recommended!

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We arrived earlier and were offered to wait for a room by the pool. All the facilities were spotless and comfortable. Our room was spacious, and the beds were comfy.

Beautifully decorated hotel with comfortable rooms. Location was great to explore the area and is a short walk to the old part of Valletta. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice common areas to relax in and roof terrace to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. Nice coffee shop with delicious coffee and pastries across from the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at AX Hotel in Rabat, Malta. The healthy breakfast was amazing, with lots of fresh options that set us up perfectly for the day. The gym and wellness area were a big plus, modern and well-equipped. What really stood out was the super friendly staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The location is excellent – just a short walk to the Medina – and the hotel even provided us with free bicycles, which we used for a memorable trip to the cliffs. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a perfect base to explore Malta.
