The building is beautiful, the breakfast was great, rooms were clean, but most importantly, the staff were amazing. Huge shoutout to Gabriel and Ioanna for their help and kindness! You're the absolute best! Note to other guests: Please be mindful of your surroundings and possessions, and use Ubers or certified cabs to get around. My partner and I were robbed because we tried to find the place by foot. It's on a main square in the old town but getting there is a bit dodgy.

Beautifully restored colonial house, simple, elegant and comfortable. Location perfect, in the main pedestrian street of Pelourignho, next to Sao Francis de Assis church, next to the best restaurant in Pelourignho (and wider), with all major sites at a walking distance. Area is safe during day and night, with high police presence. Room is spacious, beautifully decorated, music from the street added to the atmosphere. Staff was warm, welcoming, all spoke foregn languages and were willing to help with all the requests I had, be that transfer from/to the airport, city tours, to minor daily requirements and orientation. They have a nice rooftop terrace with loungers, small pool to deep in on tropical days, and a gentlimen at the bar that makes best caipirignhas in Brazil :). I loved my stay at Hotel Villa Bahia from the first to the last moment.

There wasn’t anything to fault with the Aram Yami hotel. The staff are absolutely incredible - attentive, informative and knowledgeable. The morning breakfast was superb - thank you to the kitchen staff who were always smiling! We chose the Bahia Suite which was perfect. Super large, comfortable bed with soft pillows, great A/C, separate shower and toilet and a wonderful view out to the pool. The pool area had stunning views across the bay. Complimentary drink and fruits on arrival. Wish we had more time here. Next time!

Impossible to be in a better location in Salvador - right at the heart of the action in Pelourinho, everything we did was walking distance (max 10 mins)! The room had everything you would need, very big, good AC. The staff were super proactive, giving absolutely fantastic recommendations, and helping us to arrange a taxi, etc. Really warm, friendly, and efficient! Would highly recommend this pousada, and would definitely stay here again in my next trip to Salvador!

Just 2 km from Jardim de Alah Beach, Sotero features a rooftop pool with sea views, a gym, sauna. Buffet breakfast is served daily. WiFi is free.

Nice hotel with some distance from the beaches, close to salvador shopping. Uber help a lot. Spacious rooms, with high quality beds, there is iron that was helpful, good shower with hairdryer. Reception team, baggage team and maids super friendly and helpful. Gorgeous rooftop swimming pool with amazing views. Gym room at the same level if you need to pump.

Just 1 km from Iguatemi Shopping Centre, InterCity Premium Salvador features a rooftop pool, sauna and fitness centre. It offers buffet breakfast, room service and free WiFi in public areas.

We stayed in the Suite room with a comfortable King size bed. They added a single bed for my son for only additional 30% charge. The room is big and clean and it has a balcony for us to get the fresh air. We all enjoyed the breakfast every morning especially the guava juice. The staffs are always nice to us.

Set in a restored and enlarged antique 19th century residence, Hotel Catharina Paraguaçu offers rooms with air conditioning and cable TV. Rio Vermelho Beach is only a 10-minute walk away.

Exceptional hotel. Really good value and comfy. We were flying at 3am and the reception staff really looked after us and let us keep the room free of charge until midnight which we were really pleased about. Would highly recommend 👌
