WOW. Over the past year I have been to 10 five star hotels at least, and they were nothing compared to the Dolder. The Dolder Grand is something else, something above five start, something truly unique that I wished I had experienced earlier. My suite was absolutely gorgeous, with a stunning view over the lake of Zurich. Everything in the room was clean, tidy, luxurious. The SPA was one of the best I have ever tried, beautiful and calm indoor pool, with an outdoor jacuzzi overlooking Zurich. The staff and the concierge were all super helpful, super kind and really made me feel special and welcomed during my entire stay. Finally I want to make a special mention for the food....the Saltz Restaurant was extremely good but what has totally surprised me was the breakfast. HANDS DOWN THE BEST BREAKFAST ON PLANET EARTH. Super happy of my stay, as I visit Zurich few times a year, I will make sure to stay at Dolder next time I come in few months. See you soon:)

Breakfast, super comfortable bed, staff were so friendly & helpful, location was perfect- quiet & close to the train station & we super loved the complimentary coffee in reception which was delicious & a lovely touch.

The Hotel Hottingen was renovated in 2023 and is centrally located, 500 metres from the Kunsthaus Zürich museum, next to the Hottingerplatz bus and tram stop. It offers free Wi-Fi.

This was probably the best single room I have stayed in. In the room, there was everything you need: minibar, kettle, tea/coffee, large enough safe for a laptop, robe, slippers, good desk for working, armchair, place & stand for a suitcase... Often single rooms are the worst rooms of a hotel in the noisiest place, but this room was in the upper floor and very quiet. And in Central Europe mid-range hotels often lack a kettle, minibar or a safe or all of them. The staff was friendly too. Not too far away from the railway station (a tram stop very close to the hotel) or the lake. I also liked the fact that they had put a glass carafe in the room encouraging guests to drink tap water which is excellent in Switzerland. Bottled water seems like waste in countries which have excellent tap water.

The stylish Townhouse Boutique Hotel is located next to the Zurich Main Station and offers you rooms decorated like in an English townhouse. An internet station is available for free.

This was the sixteenth hotel of my trip and was one of my favorites. I was greeted warmly, and the receptionist tried hard to get me into my room right away. I ultimately only waited for about 40 minutes to get in, still long before the official check-in time. The hotel is a short walk to the train station in an interesting area. The breakfast was quite good. snd the nice lady even put chocolate sprinkles on my cappuccino. The hotel is nicely decorated,as was my room.
