a beautiful and charming hotel in the middle of historic Valparaiso. We were very friendly welcomed. The hotel is beautifully decorated, with some links to the former occupant, the English painter Somerscales. The family room we booked was very large, with a beautiful view on the hills of valparaiso. The beds were of high quality, as was the bathroom. breakfast was excellent. If you step out of the hotel you are in the middle of the touristic centre, with many bars and restaurants, amidst many scenic views. The street in which the hotel is situated feels safe and more quite, with free parking space in front of the hotel. Highly recommended!

We originally were in a separate lofted room when it was a group of three of us and then shifted to room #5 that had a view of the water and a large tub and king sized bed. If you’re a couple, I definitely recommend room #5, it’s gorgeous and the tub is amazing.

Very well appointed and comfortable. It’s situated n a very good location near plenty of restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble for the superb staff . The front of house team were exceptional, Marcos in particular was so very knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent value for money

The view of the harbour from the breakfast room and the terraced garden is stunning. The gardens are beautifully tended, with comfy seats and eating area offering sun and shade. The hotel is situated on a quiet street in a very nice, and central area, and the colonial style of the building and its furnishing and decoration are beautiful. Such a comfy bed, and a lovely spacious bathroom. Good selection for breakfast. Everything spotlessly clean. Rosa and her team are the best! So welcoming, friendly and helpful. They arranged transfers for us, gave us great advice on places to visit, and spent a lot of time arranging car hire for us on a last minute request. They really could not have done more to make our stay in Valparaiso so memorable.
