Czech RepublicThis is, undoubtedly, the most beautiful hotel in Banos, built by two Ecuadorian-born German brothers in their former playground. The rooms are spacious, the freshly prepared breakfast is excellent, and the architecture respects nature, making you feel like you are in the forest, in a tree house, while enjoying a stay in a four-star hotel next to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country. I absolutely adore this hotel, which is worth every penny; that is, the pricing is fair for the setting and service. I love this place. Staying in this hotel is an experience, rather than a mere stay. The brothers were also highly helpful gave excellent recommendations to the best driver in town and to the best spa (El Refugio), where we enjoy the cajon bano. Thank you so much for this stay!

We stayed in a beautifully designed room with fantastic views. We loved how the guest house is desgined in such a natural way with the woods. There is a heater in the room, which kept us warm in the cooler evenings. In the evenings we could see the birds out of the big windows and on our spacious balcony. The owners are very attentive and helpful. They catered towards our special dietary requirements. Their friendly puppies were a delight.

Very nice location in the green, close to hiking opportunities. Interesting design of the buildings. Overall good athmosphere.

The surroundings are beautiful! Taxis into town take 10 minutes and cost 3 USD per way. We were happy to stay outside of town in a much more peaceful setting. The property is very unique in its design and albeit quite basic is really charming. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and their two dogs are adorable!

The location and architecture is stunning. The room is reminiscent of lodges in Africa, generous in size and beautiful colours. Thanks to lovely staff, friendly and helpful. Great meals and lovely dogs.
