The location is excellent. The room is majestic. very indulgent. The shower is large and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. And the service is just great. The staff took care of everything. And they did it all the time with a smile. We had a great time. Highly recommend.

A 10-minute walk from Amboise Castle, this bed and breakfast is set in an original, 15th-century quarry and is carved out of the rock.

Cracking little find on Booking.com. Little bit of a walk into town for a meal on the night but very safe area. Need to stay to experience the full affect on the facilities. Highly recommend.

The Pavillon des Lys is a private mansion built in 1703, transformed into a charming 4-star hotel in 2004. Some of our rooms are independent, located on the ground floor of the establishment.

Checking in was OK as we were too late for reception but we managed to find the 'house' that was to be our home for 10 days or so. On arrival we found that our room was an upper floor apartment and I have difficulty climbing stairs. However we managed and contacted reception next morning who arranged to move us to lower floor. As I had coped the previous night we decided to stay where we were but staff advised we could change if it became too much, Having a balcony was fantastic for watching the sun go down at night. It was close enough to local facilities for groceries and sightseeing trips with the Mini Chateaux on the doorstep.

Very nice little château to relax after a day of sightseeing around Amboise. We very much enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was with only local produce and very tasty, can definitely recommend it!

How to describe this lovely place ? The special house, the surrounding gardens and the wonderful hosts. Everything was perfect. And of course we will not forget the wonderful breakfast, with the croissants, cheeses, handmade jams and more... a great way to start the day. The location is comfortable and close to all the attractions of the area. We were 6 family members (2 parents + 4 kids) who stayed at the place in September, we received guidance and recommendations from the hosts .They were very friendly ,helpful and generous ! It's a wonderful place with a perfect hosts. Recommended
