Everything, warm, welcoming, luxurious. We got to meet the owner Marc Antoine, who sat with us for breakfast, you must ask him to play the piano. And then the was lovely Lisa who stayed awake as we arrived really late, and she was nice enough to come out and direct us to the hotel. The hotel is magnificent, packed with history and filled with beautiful antiques of every era, tastefully curated with a lot of love by the owner. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Will return soon.

We love it all and Frederic and Mary Claire are incredible hosts and pay so much attention to all of the details. We highly recommend this hotel and it is a perfect plact for a vacation or if you are in the antique business a complete home run!

Staff were excellent - helping with bike storage and accommodating an early morning departure. Pool was excellent. Breakfast courtyard was beautiful. Nice selection of food. Loved the access to the Sorgue river - albeit very chilly!

Le Limas is located in the centre of Avignon, just a 5-minute walk from the Palais des Papes and a 3-minute walk to the Pont d’Avignon.

The staff were all very helpful, friendly and engaged. They offered useful suggestions about restaurants and travel in the region. Nevertheless, my room and its two private terraces, with expansive views of the beautiful grounds - not to mention two bories on the property -- were so peaceful that I chose the serenity of the domaine over additional travel. I did not wish to leave during my visit and I was certainly reluctant to leave at the end. I hope to return in the future.

Excellent stay! Located in the charming small town of Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, barely 10 minutes by car from the center of Avignon, this hotel offers a calm and relaxing environment. The town itself is walkable and boasts many good restaurants, enhancing the local experience. The town has its own local landmarks, such as Fort Saint-André and the neighbouring Abbey, while remaining close to Avignon’s main historical sites such as the Palais des Papes and Pont d’Avignon. The hotel also features a nice garden with a swimming pool, providing a perfect spot for relaxation. For guests with cars, the hotel provides a secure parking lot which ensures your vehicle is safely parked during your stay. Our room was large and comfortable, equipped with a deep bathtub that made our visit to Avignon more relaxing. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. In retrospect, staying in this town rather than in the city of Avignon itself was a far better choice, offering a more tranquil and authentic local experience. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay while visiting Avignon.

We loved the relaxed atmosphere and the stunning grounds. The whole property was so beautiful and quaint. Our bedrooms were also decorated beautifully. The rooms were also a completely blackout dark for our children for sleep ins in the mornings. Our hostess was so so friendly and nice. She was funny and loved to chat and nothing was a problem. We arrived 2 hours early and she knew this and had our room ready. She baked us cakes and breads every morning for our breakfast. The pool area is absolutely picturesque and it was so beautiful we stayed by the pool for two whole days without leaving. It was nice and quiet with one other family at the pool and often to ourselves. We were also the only family for breakfast in the gorgeous garden every morning.
