Just round the corner of almost everything. With downstairs in the the restaurant/pub the feel of an old place (not medieval but like it’s been there a long time) and in the room all you would expect of a hotel. Friendly staff, good breakfast.

Great location, quiet but not too far from the town. Staff were really friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was one of the comfiest I’ve slept in and the little note in the bathroom saying they would supply any essentials that you have forgotten free of charge was a really nice touch.

Beautiful place to stay, facilities and grounds were fantastic. Disappointed with the dinner, long wait to order then a long wait for food to arrive to be told they had none. Staff sorted it but disappointed with the communication between staff.

The hotel was simply fabulous! We were welcomed by extremely helpful staff members and shown to our room. Nothing was a problem. The location is perfect for exploring, comfy beds and, wow, a superb breakfast!

From the moment we set foot inside the front door and were met with a roaring fire and a festive Christmas tree the scene was set for a fantastic holiday in Southampton! Loved the friendly and helpful staff at the desk and concierge services (thank you Marta 😊), excellent location within walking distance to the train station and theatre, comfortable spacious rooms with great beds and a bonus of an indoor swimming pool and spa: it was the perfect mini-break from London: thanks to all the wonderful staff who made our stay so delightful.
