The property is less than 20 minutes on foot away from the train station and is located in the very center of Ferrara, just in front of Largo Castello. The staff was extremely helpful and was so kind to book for us a table in one of the nearby restaurants the same evening. The property is quite modern both in public spaces and rooms. The room was very spacious (though, the bathroom was relatively small), with an aircon, a small fridge (minibar, basically), and a tall mirror. The breakfast was, on one side, limited (e.g. no fruit yoghurts), but on the other side - there was a HUGE selection of dried fruits, seeds, nuts, and so on. Plus a decent selection of pastry, cheeses, and other "traditional" breakfast dishes. In addition to "regular" drinks (like juices, tea/coffee), there were non-standard breakfast drinks like lemon-herbs water and similar. Last but not least, there was honey straight from hive frame!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Principessa Pio is a farm stay set in a historic building in Ferrara, less than 1 km from Diamanti Palace.

We loved everything! The room itself is very clean and comfortable. The staff were courteous, friendly and welcoming. Its a 10 min walk to the city center which is just perfect. The location is very green and quiet. Nothing to complain at all! I read some reviews about bad wifi which I didn‘t see as an issue at all.
