Beautiful room in the peaceful and beautiful Val del Noto area of Sicily. Hotel all at ground level, although as always, steps here and there (e.g. from reception to breakfast area) so check step-free access if you need it, before booking. Our room had an upper gallery area with large double bed and then lower area with double sofa bed, shower room, wardrobe, TV and a small table and chairs for 4. Perfect for a family of 3 adults. All spotlessly clean and a delicious breakfast for 8 Euros per person. Pool looked amazing but not quite warm enough to swim yet in early May (22/25c). Hotel reached by its own exit of the interstate (!) and plenty of hotel parking available on its private land outside hotel grounds.

Our stay at Giardino Sul Duomo was simply unforgettable. Perfectly located just steps away from the stunning Duomo di San Giorgio, the property offers one of the best panoramic views in Ragusa. Watching the sun set over Ragusa Superiore from the serene garden and pool area was a daily highlight, truly a magical experience. We stayed in a beautiful room with a terrace overlooking the lush garden, offering uninterrupted views of the city. It was peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to unwind. The hosts were exceptionally warm and helpful throughout our stay, always ready with tips on exploring the area and quick to help with booking taxis or making local arrangements. Their genuine hospitality made us feel truly welcome. Breakfast was another standout, everything freshly made, delicious, and beautifully presented. You can really see the care and dedication they put into making every detail of your stay excellent. Giardino Sul Duomo is a gem in Ragusa Ibla and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Apart from the great location in the city center of Ragusa and clean and well-equipped room, the hospitality of the owner was incredible. Also, parking was indeed free, and close to the apartment. In addition, we had an unlucky situation that my friend hurt her leg and the owner of the apartment helped us with the medicine, advised on the hospital and have been very nice and supportive. In the morning we had a perfect breakfast with espresso and croissant made by the owner on the terrace with a great view on the street

The property is located in the heart of Ibla Ragusa, very close and convenient to visit everything on foot. It is a lovely restored old house, surprisingly quiet at night and the breakfast in the roof top is very good. It is a bit tricky to park there but Rosita was an absolut perfect host, helped me parking and was very welcoming. My mom did not find the bed super comfotable but my sofa bed was great. We loved the stay!

I highly recommend Relais Antica Badia to anyone travelling to the south-west of Sicil and begrudge not having stayed longer. It is a marvellous hotel in an old Palazzo facing the Cathedral. Staff is kind, helpful and always attentive. Very comfortable beds, large bathroom with separate lavatory, Junior Suite was very quiet, high rooms. Lavish breakfast for every taste with big choice of fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, omlette and Italian specialities. If you need a parking space, a few are available in the courtyard for 15€ per night (reserve in advance). Value for money is outstanding!
