Beautiful hotel with everything working just the way a five star hotel should – fast courteous check-in with the type of personal service that is hard to find these days, beautifully appointed rooms with stylish bathrooms with both shower and bath, and every modern amenity, gorgeous outdoor pool area with heated jacuzzi, shallow sunbathing pools, huge rectangular pool for swimming lengths and a swim-up pool bar, which made great cocktails. The hotel also had a private beach and its own dock for boat tours. They offer their own snorkeling, diving and watersports, so you don’t need to book with an outside operator. One lovely touch was the sunglasses cleaning service where a waiter with a tray of cleaning products went around the sunbathing area and offered to clean your glasses for you! The hotel restaurant offered a marvelous buffet breakfast and they had very tasty dinner restaurant (Rehan Lebanese Cuisine). We also tried out the massage services and the masseuse was excellent and reasonably priced for a five star hotel. The pool area was fairly crowded but it was summer so that is probably to be expected and despite this, service was on point and everything was cleaned constantly. Excellent management of all common areas, outside and inside. Another nice touch was the friendly doorman who was able to assist us with taxis and when our independent tour was running late, and who plied us with cold water bottles for our trip to the desert. We only stayed one night yet he remembered our faces and always had a nice word to say to us - such an asset to the hotel to have helpful and friendly staff who make you feel truly welcome.
