Location in very nice spot. The bus delivers you from the train station - can just call from the tourist information center. The view was really nice - the room was on the 7th floor and it was both modern and traditional. The restaurant and meals were fantastic - with multiple courses in old traditional Japanese way. Onsen in room was big and really cozy which was positively surprising. The rooms are traditional but have also normal beds apart from futons in wardrobe. Additionally there are kimonos prepared for the guests and wearing them while eating the Japanese meals make it way more satisfying.

These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
