Great location in the heart of the old city. There were very few guests, so we got a free upgrade of our room with a beautiful view on the lake. The room was clean and cosy. The breakfast was fine. The staff was nice and friendly. And a lovely cat Mike at the reception will definitely make your day better!

The room was very nice. The bathroom is extremely clean and pleasure to use, the bed was comfy and nice. The air conditioning was good too.

Practically this is the most central you could ask for in the old town without being on a hill. You’re neighbouring workshops, a museum, and are just two streets down from the lake. the arena, churches, and fortress are all just a walk up the hill (which is unavoidable). You’re in the middle of it all essentially. The host is also just an authentically nice guy. You don’t get over the top formality but a younger local who just wants you to have a good stay in Ohrid. He’ll offer to sort any problems you have during your stay and will generally make life easier in the town! Lots of good suggestions too (and good conversation)
