That was an amazing experience to sleep there. I enjoyed my time there. The temperature is about-4 to -7. But they provide a sleeping bag which can tolerate till -30. So I felt pretty warm there.

Set in the same building as AMFI Alta Shopping Centre, Thon Hotel Alta offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a cable TV and minibar. Alta Bus Station is located right next to the hotel.

The hotel is next to the arctic church and in front of the bus station. The room was really spacious and with a wonderful view to the church and the mountains. The breakfast was super nice and the staff was kind and helpful. It was a quiet and comfortable stay.

If you want peace and quiet and a lovely view of the Altafjord - then this small family hotel is perfect for you!

This place is a little gem with beatiful view to fjord, amazing breakfast and wonderful host. Absolutely loved the true Skandinavian atmosphere and the friendly chat in the morning. It takes about half an hour to walk to Alta centre if you don’t have a car or you can easily catch a bus.
