The staff were very welcoming and allowed us to check in early after a long journey. There was no elevator but we received assistance lugging our cases up to the rooms. Breakfast was lovely with attentive staff on hand and the team was happy to help with traveller tips and arranged a taxi to the port to meet our prebooked tour.

This charming, family-owned hotel is set in two late 19th-century buildings by Bergen’s Nygårdsparken. The second building is across the street from the main building.

The hotel is placed close to the main station. Beautifully decorated, the personnel is wonderfully available and helpful. Not only could I access my room early in the morning after a night train from Oslo, I was also upgraded into a luxurious room without even asking. The room was very clean, comfortable and charming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I only wished I had stayed longer.

Most of all we liked hotel staff.They are very friendly and helpful.Our flight was canceled and we arrived very late at night.Mr.Ditrich sent taxi to the airport,fruits plate and Jogurt were prepared for us when we arrived.It was very pleasant to feel support.
