Beautiful gardens, fantastic building old style main house. Perfect location to a local market. Solitude close to the old city. Fairly close to the railway station and getting around is so easy in the awful Tuk Turks.

The room was artistically decorated with traditional Thai cabinet displays and looked out onto a quiet courtyard/swimming pool. We had stayed in the hotel pre- 2020 and were not disappointed on our return. It remains well maintained and popular, especially with overseas visitors. Lovely breakfast; lovely garden overlooking the river with Wat Phuttaisawan lit up at night on the opposite bank. Good restaurants within walking distance - turn right or left at the entrance. There is a small car park. Slept really well.
