We had an excellent week long stay at Hotel Renew. We had a party of 4, and were in 2 rooms with partial sea view and balconies. For the location right next to Waikiki beach, this hotel is a gem. The staff are very helpful, friendly and welcoming. They were great at providing us with what we needed for the day such as beach chairs, towels, extra coffee, travel advice and bus schedules. The lobby is well decorated and feels very relaxing as soon as you walk in. The rooms may feel a bit on the small side to some, but you are paying for location. They are clean and modern, with a great shower and bathroom. Lots of places to unpack and hide suitcases away. We got ourselves organized on day one to clear the floor and put clothes away into the warddrobe and it felt great, once tidy, for the rest of the stay. Beautiful views of the sunset dropping over the ocean horizon from the balconies that face north. I would definitely recommend staying here, and we will stay here again for our next visit to Honolulu.

I love the area, quiet, greenery around the hotel is amazing. We saw all kinds of birds Inc. Parrots flying in the morning on the trees around thr hotel. A nice path to the beach. The room is so spacious and super clean. The balconies are an added plus for sure. There is also laundry room which came in very handy. A nearby convenience store also made our stay comfortable in terms of getting the essentials. Walking to waikiki is 20-30 min away which we didn't mind. The hotel lends towels, beach chairs which is great. Overall I couldn't ask for more. Oh and the premium illy coffee machine and pods were the cherry on top!

Staff are lovely and location perfect. Royal Gardens is walking distance to everywhere! No need to take the Trolley to Ala Moana - it’s a 25m walk to the centre - from your door to Macy’s. It’s 10 minutes in the other direction to the best Poke Bar at Waikiki Beach Walk and an easy 15 minutes to Ross Dress For Less at Seaside Ave. All the buses stop on Kuhio only 200m away to take you to Diamond Head or Bishops Museum or Arizona Memorial or Ala Moana. Perfect!
