Fürstenhaus Am Achensee is a 4-star superior hotel located right on the shore of Lake Achen, offering panoramic views of the Alps. The 3,000 m² spa area features indoor and outdoor pools with mountain views, various massage showers, and a large hot tub right above the lake. I have stayed in many hotels but this one was the best of all. Not only because of the magical location of the shore of Achensee and embraced by mountains but also because of the facilities, the staff and the food. Let's start with the room: this is the first hotel room where bathroom and toilet are separated. Fantastic idea! The room was spotless clean and the cleaning staff deserve a big applause! The room was silent, well isolated. The walls are not paper thin, you can barely hear anything from outside. It even has a balcony which is also not common. The spa facilities are huge and well-maintained, offering a wide range of possibilities. The food in the restaurant is fantastic, the staff super helpful and costumer oriented. The staff deserves all the recognition they can get, they are the ones carrying the hotel on their shoulders and you can see that they are working real hard.

The PENZ exudes modernity while providing luxurious hospitality in the traditional manner. It offers the perfect ambience of well-being for relaxed regeneration and peaceful, restorative sleep, but also for concentrated work. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Rooms were modern, comfortable and nicely furnishing. Breakfast offering was exceptional. Hot chocolate at reception with sweets and chocolates was a nice touch. Location was ideal for Christmas markets. Plenty of shopping and dining options just outside.

Decorated in blue marble and Swarovski crystals, the elegant bathrooms feature a hairdryer and a make-up mirror. Room was clean and quiet and staffs gave us good informations to tour Innsbruck. Building was pretty.
