The windows offer peaceful, breathtaking views. The SPA area is a true relaxation haven—comfortable, professional, and beautifully designed. After warming up well in the sauna, it's worth taking a quick dip in the icy waters of Lake St. Wolfgang, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. We loved the hotel’s unique style. It’s not just a place to stay but an experience we’ll always remember and want to return to.

The Hotel Weisser Hirsch is an oasis of relaxation in the heart of St. Wolfgang, directly on the shores of Lake Wolfgang. It offers a private lake access and free Wi-Fi. The location, the staff, the breakfasts, the green focus, were outstanding.

Free WiFi, an indoor swimming pool, a steam bath, and a sauna is provided at Dormio Resort Obertraun, 300 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. The size of the chalets is good. The mini market is very convenient

Το Pension Bergfried βρίσκεται στο Χάλστατ, σε απόσταση 150μ. από την όχθη της Λίμνης Χάλστατ. Προσφέρει δωμάτια με λειτουργική επίπλωση, κάποια εκ των οποίων έχουν μπαλκόνι. If you come to Hallstad by car, this hotel is for you! The location of the hotel is excellent, from the window we could see the salt mine, the historical part is just around the corner. The staff is very welcoming and was able to resolve the issue since we did not specify a child and our room was not designed for three. The problem has been resolved, but this can be critical if the hotel does not have additional options, so be sure to inform the hotel about this if you are planning a trip with a child. Thank you ladies! The hotel has parking, but there is no guarantee, we were lucky.

A 5-minute walk from the centre of Sankt Wolfgang, Strandhotel Margaretha offers a private beach on the shore of Lake Wolfgang, a lakeside terrace, a bar, a sauna, and a relaxation room. ⸻ We stayed for a week in August, a family of four with two children. Overall, the hotel is excellent – it’s in a perfect location and has a very nice private beach (including SUP boards and rowboats available for guests). Breakfast was good and varied, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Parking is not always available on-site, but it’s not a big issue unless it’s raining heavily, as the hotel provides free parking just a two-minute walk away. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant once – the food was tasty but relatively expensive compared to other restaurants in the area.
