The host is very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for activities. We really liked the atmosphere at the hotel too — it felt very homely and personal, unlike big chain hotels. We also really enjoyed the private lakeside garden, which was a perfect spot for sunbathing and taking a refreshing dip in the lake.

Free WiFi, an indoor swimming pool, a steam bath, and a sauna is provided at Dormio Resort Obertraun, 300 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. The location was excellent with stunning views. The Staff were co operative and helped with all necessary things. Also the mini super market inside is really useful if we like to cook food.

Το Pension Bergfried βρίσκεται στο Χάλστατ, σε απόσταση 150μ. από την όχθη της Λίμνης Χάλστατ. Προσφέρει δωμάτια με λειτουργική επίπλωση, κάποια εκ των οποίων έχουν μπαλκόνι. I like the peacefulness. The location is a bit far from Markt, but it is close to the bus stop. The view was super! We booked the smallest room, and we got the one with a balcony, which is helpful for us as we were traveling with a child. I totally recommend this place.
